Cyclosporine before PCI in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction. BACKGROUND: Experimental and clinical evidence suggests that cyclosporine may attenuate reperfusion injury and reduce myocardial infarct size. We aimed to test whether cyclosporine would improve clinical outcomes and prevent adverse left ventricular remodeling.
