We performed this meta-analysis determining the effects of liraglutide on blood pressure in these patients. Efficacy and Safety of Dulaglutide Compared to Liraglutide: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Diabetes mellitus has been always one of the most prevalent chronic diseases in the last decades. There exist a wide range of pharmacological agents for controlling this disease. However, these agents fare differently in terms of efficacy and safety. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to explore the influence of liraglutide on heart failure.We searched PubMed, EMbase, Web of Science, EBSCO, and Cochrane library databases through March 2018 for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing the effect of liraglutide on cardiac function of heart failure.
