A regulatory approach on serum bilirubin level in subjects with impaired glucose tolerance. The present study was undertaken to find the role of dietary intervention and physical exercise on serum bilirubin level in IGT subjects. Thirty three newly detected otherwise healthy subjects with IGT, aged 35-63 years, were randomly selected to participate in a 12 weeks diet and exercise program. Intra- and Inter-Subject Variability for Increases in Serum Ketone Bodies in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Treated With the Sodium Glucose Co-transporter 2 Inhibitor Canagliflozin. Sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors have been associated with increased serum ketone body levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
