How to Trip Rapid Review

Step 1: Select articles relevant to your search (remember the system is only optimised for single intervention studies)

Step 2: press

Step 3: review the result, and maybe amend the or if you know better! If we're unsure of the overall sentiment of the trial we will display the conclusion under the article title. We then require you to tell us what the correct sentiment is.

studies. Assessment of heterogeneity Our included studies assessed interventions and reported outcomes that were too different to pool; therefore, metaanalysis was not possible. If it had been, we planned to explore heterogeneity using forest plots and the I 2 statistic according to guidance of the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions (Higgins et al.). We were also thus unable to conduct planned meta‐regression to assess the role of mediating factors, such as: target audience (...) as high risk of bias or studies in which there were unit of analysis errors that could not be reanalysed but metaanalysis was not possible. 3. Benefit of dual antithrombotic therapy with direct oral anticoagulants in patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention: a systematic review and metaanalysis of randomized clinical trials. (Abstract)

Benefit of dual antithrombotic therapy with direct oral anticoagulants in patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention: a systematic review and metaanalysis of randomized clinical trials. Antithrombotic treatment in patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention is still debated. We conducted a meta-analysis of recent randomized controlled trials to evaluate the benefit of different antithrombotic strategies. Data were analyzed

4. Axillary Management in Women with Early Breast Cancer and Limited Sentinel Node Metastasis: A Systematic Review and Metaanalysis of Real-World Evidence in the Post-ACOSOG Z0011 Era. (Abstract)

Axillary Management in Women with Early Breast Cancer and Limited Sentinel Node Metastasis: A Systematic Review and Metaanalysis of Real-World Evidence in the Post-ACOSOG Z0011 Era. After the publication of the Z0011 trial, the American Society of Clinical Oncology published an updated clinical practice guideline stating that clinicians should not recommend axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) for early-stage breast cancer patients with the involvement of one or two sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs (...) ). However, these recommendations have been challenged because they were mainly based on data from limited studies. The aim of the current study is to systematically compare the real-world outcomes of SLN biopsy (SLNB) alone and SLNB + ALND in patients with early-stage breast cancers and limited positive SLN metastasis in the post-Z0011 era PATIENTS AND METHODS: We searched articles in the PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane library databases. The primary endpoints were overall survival (OS) and disease-free

5. Systematic Review and Metaanalysis of Lymph Node Metastases of Resected Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors. (Abstract)

Systematic Review and Metaanalysis of Lymph Node Metastases of Resected Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors. The optimal surgical strategy for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs) is unknown. However, current guidelines recommend a watch-and-wait strategy for small nonfunctional PNETs (NF-PNETs). The aim of this study is to investigate the risk stratification and prognostic significance of lymph node metastasis (LNM) of PNETs to guide decision-making for lymphadenectomy. The MEDLINE and Web (...) of Science databases were systematically searched for studies reporting either risk factors of LNM in resected PNETs or survival of patients with LNM. The weighted average incidence of LNM was calculated according to tumor characteristics. Random-effects metaanalyses were performed, and pooled hazard ratios (HR) and their 95% confidence intervals (CI) were calculated to determine the impact of LNM on overall survival (OS). In subgroup analyses, NF-PNETs were assessed. From a total of 5883 articles, 98

8. An overview of systematic reviews on mental health promotion, prevention, and treatment of common mental disorders for refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced persons. Full Text available with Trip Pro

An overview of systematic reviews on mental health promotion, prevention, and treatment of common mental disorders for refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced persons. Migrants who have been forced to leave their home, such as refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced persons (IDP), are likely to experience stressors which may lead to mental health problems. The efficacy of interventions for mental health promotion, prevention, and treatment may differ (...) in this population. With this overview of systematic reviews, we will map the characteristics and methodological quality of existing systematic reviews and registered systematic review protocols on the promotion of mental health and prevention and treatment of common mental disorders among refugees, asylum seekers, and IDPs. The findings from this overview will be used to prioritise and inform future Cochrane reviews on the mental health of involuntary migrants. We searched Ovid MEDLINE (1945 onwards), Ovid Embase

12. Prognostic models for newly-diagnosed chronic lymphocytic leukaemia in adults: a systematic review and meta-analysis. (Abstract)

Prognostic models for newly-diagnosed chronic lymphocytic leukaemia in adults: a systematic review and meta-analysis. Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) is the most common cancer of the lymphatic system in Western countries. Several clinical and biological factors for CLL have been identified. However, it remains unclear which of the available prognostic models combining those factors can be used in clinical practice to predict long-term outcome in people newly-diagnosed with CLL.To identify (...) aimed to perform a quantitative meta-analysis of their predictive performance, notably their calibration (proportion of people predicted to experience the outcome who do so) and discrimination (ability to differentiate between people with and without the event) using a random-effects model. When a model categorised individuals into risk categories, we pooled outcome frequencies per risk group (low, intermediate, high and very high). We did not apply GRADE as guidance is not yet available for reviews

20. Airway clearance techniques for cystic fibrosis: an overview of Cochrane systematic reviews. Full Text available with Trip Pro

Airway clearance techniques for cystic fibrosis: an overview of Cochrane systematic reviews. Cystic fibrosis is a life-limiting genetic condition in which thick mucus builds up in the lungs, leading to infections, inflammation, and eventually, deterioration in lung function. To clear their lungs of mucus, people with cystic fibrosis perform airway clearance techniques daily. There are various airway clearance techniques, which differ in terms of the need for assistance or equipment, and cost.To (...) summarise the evidence from Cochrane Reviews on the effectiveness and safety of various airway clearance techniques in people with cystic fibrosis. For this overview, we included Cochrane Reviews of randomised or quasi-randomised controlled trials (including cross-over trials) that evaluated an airway clearance technique (conventional chest physiotherapy, positive expiratory pressure (PEP) therapy, high-pressure PEP therapy, active cycle of breathing techniques, autogenic drainage, airway oscillating
