In this video, Kristy Sudbrink, bariatric program specialist at the University of Maryland Center for Weight Management and Wellness, discusses her role in guiding patients through the weight loss surgery process.
She also talks about one of the first steps in that process, the weekly bariatric weight loss seminars.
These free seminars give patients the opportunity to meet the surgeons and learn about the surgical procedures offered here, realistic weight loss expectations, and the lifestyle changes that are all part of the bariatric surgery process.
